The Javdekar Group now offers Palash- The Green Commune. This is the world’s first 5-star rated Eco-housing project at Wakad, Pune. This project, scheduled to be completed in 2009 offers over 350 digitized homes. At the core is the vision to deliver Smart and Responsible Living experience to its residents.

The job included replacing existing M.S. pipeline submerged underwater, that connect the last inspection well to jackwell by new M.S. pipeline in the riverbed of river Khamb. It was critical that the job be completed before the onset of monsoon. We commenced the work was started on the 28th of June 2006 with the monsoon hovering at us – it seemed like mission impossible. There were constraints that came consistently, and twice the ongoing work was totally marooned by river water twice due to flash floods, a common feature in that part of the state. This made the worksite impossible ot work as it was filled with sludge. What set us part and fully capable of finishing the task was systematic and meticulous planning and execution, using new and innovative construction techniques.

In this project we provided laying, jointing and commissioning of Raw Water rising main, intake pipe, MS bypass pipeline etc. It involved laying of pipes and other connections to be done inside the dam area. This was a job of high criticality and various agencies had tried to achieve the same for the last 6 years with out any success. However, we did this job in a record time of 3 months.

This complex project involved construction of 10.8 MLD (Million Litres per Day) Water Treatment & Supply Plant right from Designing to Testing & Commissioning of the plant. The estimated time for a project of similar size is about 9-12 months. This project was completed by our team in a record time of 47 days, a feat never ever achieved in India before.
