Convocation of workers post the Kushal Skill Training Workshop
On 1st February 2018, PNB housing along with CREDAI Kushal team had arranged for a convocation program for the trainees of Vilas Javdekars developers at Yashwin 2.0. The guests who were present at the event were Mr. JP Shroff, Chairman of Kushal, Mr. Ajay Irabatti, Regional business head of PNB housing, Mr. Abhijeet Achalare, Head of Achalare Realtors, Mr. Vilas Javdekar, Founder of Vilas Javdekar Developers and Mr. Sarvesh Javdekar, Technical Director.
After the 1st phase of the training program, around 170 workers of Vilas Javdekar developers received the Kushal certificate from the hands of Mr. Ajay Irabatti and Mr. Vilas Javdekar. PNB housing through their CSR funding had also given Rs.1000/- to every certificate holder as monetary reward, which was really encouraging for the trainees.
The motivating factor behind holding the event was to train the unskilled laborers with correct procedures of doing their regular jobs. After screening and testing, around 170 workers passed and were eligible for getting the final certificate from CREDAI Kushal. While Mr. Abhishek Achalare stressed the importance of holding such programs, Mr. Shroff enlightened the audience on how this certificate would mean improved wages for the workers. The event also saw Mr. Sarvesh Javdekar elaborate on the improved efficiency of the workers post the training whereas, Mr. Irabatti likened honing the talent of the workers to shaping raw diamonds.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Mr. Kapil Trimal.
