The EV charging station has already seen active use by residents owning electric two-wheelers and four-wheelers. Within weeks of its launch, it has proven to be convenient, reliable, and easy to access, making sustainable mobility a practical part of everyday life. Residents have appreciated not only the functionality of the facility but also what it represents—collective action toward reducing carbon impact. By introducing a shared charging solution, the society addressed a key challenge faced by EV users: the need for accessible on-site infrastructure without individual installation hurdles. The initiative allows more residents to confidently consider electric mobility while reinforcing VJ’s focus on future-ready communities. The YashONE – Maan Hinjawadi community hopes this effort will inspire other VJ societies to explore similar solutions. Supported by the VJ facility and management teams and in partnership with SaaJ Energy, the project stands as a meaningful example of resident-driven sustainability where everyday convenience and environmental responsibility come together to create lasting impact.
